About Us

J. A. Whitney began 15 years ago, with a very bright idea formed by Barb Buck. She saw a store she liked so well in California, she hired the owner to become her consultant and help her begin a new concept in St. Louis, locating the store in Ladue, Missouri. Five years ago, Barb sold the business to Jill Stubbs and Barb Weiss, who have creatively added their own "flavor" to the business, and two years ago, Christi Moses joined as a third partner. We also moved the business to our present location in Town and Country, Missouri.

Our goal is to listen to you, making your gift very personalized. We want to work with your ideas and budget in mind, to create a truly unique, personalized gift which reflects your taste and style. Finally, it's our goal to make it a fun and pleasurable experience for everyone!
